自定义Genesis代码确实帮不上忙，但修改主循环的方法是filter pre_get_posts.

要将类别ID 7从非单篇文章页面的上下文中排除，请执行以下操作：

function wpse72961_filter_pre_get_posts( $query ) {
    if ( is_main_query() && ! is_singular() ) {
        $query->set( \'category__not_in\', 7 );
    }
    return;
}
